~*~ How the Images Were Made ~*~
In 2023, deep in the depths of the crypto winter, I decided to finally bring my Little Pink Men idea to life.
Collecting
I started with a random assortment of maybe fifteen figures. I have only ever been interested in the pink ones—“flesh” colored, collectors call them—because those are the ones I had as a kid. Using a checklist shared by a kind member of the Little Rubber Guys forum, I scoured eBay every day. My daughter and I put the checklist on the wall and taped each little guy into place as they arrived.
The final piece
After about half a year, I was missing one: the rarest official figure, #236, Satan's Cross. There are usually only a few on eBay, often around $120–200. Finally I won an auction. In total, I spent just over $1,000 to complete the collection and bring a childhood dream to life.
The photography
As far as I could find, there were no high-quality images of every single Little Pink Men figure. I set out to change that. I hired my friend Marques Creative, a professional photographer who also does a lot of work with WWE, and we spent an entire day lovingly making product shots of every figure: front, back, and sides.
The Results
Each uncompressed image is 5,533 × 7,378 pixels and about 122 MB. I offer the originals free to the community.
